Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta - Starts 1st weekend in October and goes for 10 days each year. Albuquerque is the premier ballooning city due to the crystal skies, perfect October climate. Balloons, traditional New Mexican food to Balloon memorabilia. Each year balloonists come from around the world to participate in the event. It has become the most photographed event in the world
