Founded in 1918, the theatre company is housed in a 100-seat adobe building in downtown Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Playhouse produces, presents and collaborates to provide the full spectrum of the performance arts. With an annual season of nine productions, rentals to various theatre and dance companies, Off-The-Wall staged readings, musicals and poetry nights and home to the children's theatre school, Southwest Children's Theatre, Santa Fe Playhouse presentations range from the classics to experimental theatre.

During the summer season the Chorale will offer 15 concerts in five repertoires, plus special community events. Audiences will find something for everyone! Programs range from the sacred and secular performances of Great Cathedral Music and performances in Santa Fe’s historic and beloved Loretto Chapel to the new and popular “Cocktails with the Chorale.” The Chorale will also debut a new program entitled “An Evening of Romance: Monteverdi to Gershwin,” featuring some of the great romantic choral music by the the world’s great composers.
